A man, allegedly involved in a car racing incident which occurred on River Road in Shelton last April, has been arrested after reportedly surrendering to police. The man, Abdulaziz Yuldoshev, of Hamden, was charged with two counts of first-degree manslaughter, among other charges. Two individuals, Shalymar Herrera, and Briana Torres-Carter were reportedly killed in the accident. Torres-Carter was reportedly pregnant at the time. The deceased were both passengers in a vehicle driven by Lawrence Carter, the husband of Torres-Carter. Lawrence Carter and another passenger, Jessie Abrams, of Bridgeport both sustained injuries in the accident.

A 22 year old woman from Bridgeport was killed when their 2007 Toyota Scion crashed into a rock ledge on Route 8. Another individual, Indira Krawinkel, also of Bridgeport was killed in the incident. Krawinkel was reportedly a passenger in the vehicle. Krawinkel was transported to St. Vincent's Medical Center where she later died of her injuries.

One man we killed when a tractor trailer went across the left lane on Route 9 South in Cromwell, CT. Reports indicate that the tractor trailer crossed the median and struck a car traveling in the opposite direction. Tractor trailer driver, Charles Guilmette, was reportedly killed, while the other driver reportedly sustained injuries and was taken to a local hospital.

Plainville woman, Justine Cusick, arrested on manslaughter charges after allegedly running over two individuals, one of which died of her injuries. Police responded to Bradley Street, in Plainville and found one of the victims pinned under the vehicle. She was later taken to Hartford Hospital, but the hospital staff was unable to save her. The second woman suffered minor injuries. Public court records do not show details of the charges pending against Justine Cusick, but are expected to be updated in the near future.

Henry Flynn, of Wolcott, Connecticut passed away due to complications from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident in Bristol on Monday. Mr. Flynn was reportedly sitting in his truck at the time of the accident. Reportedly, Henry Flynn's vehicle was parked on the side of the road on Witches Rock Road when a vehicle driven by a 21 years old crashed into him. Reports indicate that Henry Flynn was sitting inside his 2000 GMC Truck when it was hit by a Honda Civic. Police are asking anyone with information to contact them at 860-584-3035.
